Manage Building, Features & Google Room via G Suite Admin
Hi, this is and in the next 5 minutes, I will be showing you a step-by-step guide on creating a resource/room in Google admin.
What is a google resource/room:
This is a great tool that is linked to your google calendar and can be used to designate an area in your office for people to reserve for meetings, calls etc.
This is what we will do in the next minutes to set up your custom rooms:
1. Log into your G Suite account admin account admin.google.com
2. Click on the google admin tool sign
3. Select Buildings & Resources
4. Click Edit Resources
5. Manage Buildings (lower left hand side)
6. Add a New Building
7. Add a new Resource to the building
8.Check everything is working on Google Cal!
You can set up G Suite Calendar so users can book shared resources in your company: rooms, projectors, company cars, or bicycles. To make it easy for your employees to find the best resource, show as much detail as possible. Your users will see details like the building and floor where a room is located and the key features such as video conferencing equipment or whiteboards.
